Empowerment Clinic, Inc. is an African-American operated 501(c)3 certified non-profit agency located in Northeast Portland. The Agency was developed in 2008 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and re-established in Portland, Oregon in 2012 by its founder, Michael Braxton, MBA, MSW, CADC III.

Empowerment Clinic, Inc. presently provides Mental Health & Chemical Dependency therapeutic interventions, Case Management and other Life Improvement services for disadvantaged populations.

Empowerment Clinic, Inc. employs a personal strategy in supporting its clients, supplementing its clinical interventions with anger management group sessions, peer mentoring, assistance with insurance signup, tobacco education, HIV prevention education, transportation assistance as well as housing assistance, all aimed at assisting the clients in their recovery and stabilization.
