Welcome to Empowerment Clinic Inc. If you are here regarding a DUII, you previously met with a county Alcohol and Drug Evaluation Screening Specialist (ADES) who referred you to our program. Alcohol and Drug treatment involves individualized service plans with goals and objectives specific to each person. The length of stay depends on how severe your substance use problem is, how hard you work to manage it, and how successful you are at making progress toward meeting your treatment goals. Active participation in the planning of your treatment and commitment to your specific treatment objectives will help you maximize the benefits you receive from the program.

DUII treatment at Empowerment Clinic Inc. is service plan driven. A service plan is a set of goals and objectives established by the consumer as well as clinical staff and programmatic policy. While this system leaves options available, Empowerment Clinic Inc. programmatic policy  generally consists of 20 – 30 weeks of group activity. Additionally, 2 weeks of Relapse Prevention is included in the Responsible Decisions evidence based DUII program the clinic uses.

Conviction clients generally experience 4 weeks of Relapse Prevention by working on a Personal Safety Plan. The Responsible Decisions group is educational in nature. We utilize research/evidence based programming during this phase of treatment. Consider this group more as a classroom environment. Relapse prevention groups are considered process groups with check- in and day to day living, life on life’s terms type of issues.

Clients also will be required to participate in brief monthly individual sessions to review treatment progress, individual service plan, urine screens, prescribed medication and exit planning. These sessions range from 15 to 60 minutes.
